Joe's 2005 sister KEC Jizelle x Quidams Rubin is 2nd in the Irish National 4 Year Old Championships, 2009.

 

Joe returns to the top international ranks in 2009- E200,000 Madrid Grand Prix - 7th. He jumped super in Rome with a first round clear.

KEC Maximum Joe comes from a long line of performers. His sire Lasangos is of the famous Landgraf Line, he competed in Germany winning the Bundschampionship (equivalent of the Boomerang) before being sold to Princess Haya of Jordan who competed him to International Level. His dam is the preferent mare Penny Lane by the legendary Pilot, going back to Weinberg on the Grand Dam's side.

KEC Maximum Joe was the jumping sensation on the International Circuit in 2007.

Performance.

KEC Maximum Joe has competed up through the young horse classes with a number of riders but moved to the Dutch rider, Willem Greve in 2006. In 2007 his season included the following results :         1st in the Lummen Grand Prix CSI-3*

2nd in the 1.45 Stallion Class at Zwolle International Stallion Show

3rd in CSI-2* Neeroeteren Grand Prix, in Belgium

6th in the CSI-3*Eindhoven GP

6th in the Gelderland Grand Prix CSI-4*

7th in the 1.50m Class at Pforzheim CSI-3*, in Germany

10th overall in the Dutch Championships,

Nations Cups : in the Lummen CSIO-4* Nations Cup he was clear in the 2nd round;

Samsung League Nations Cup Series : Hickstead CSIO 5* where he was 4& 0;

Dublin’s Aga Khan where he had 0& 4.

He was selected as reserve for the Dutch Team who went to Barcelona to the Samsung Super League Finals & he was short-listed for the Dutch Team for the Olympics 2008, but unfortunately picked up an injury during the summer that kept him off the team. In 2009 he was competed by Billy Twomey & represented Ireland on Nations Cups at Rome & Hickstead.
