Dohyle House Stud is based on the edge of Rathkeale Town, just 10 minutes from Adare, 20 minutes from Limerick City & 40 minutes from Shannon Airport. It boasts rolling Golden Vale limestone land ideal for the growth & production of young sport horses. The area has traditionally been a strong hold of Irish breeding & production of young horses & we hope that this tradition will be continued with the help of Dohyle House Stud. The facility is primarily used to produce & sell young horses & also to run SJAI Shows to showcase our own & other local producers' horses. We hope it will encourage both Irish & International buyers back to the Co. Limerick area to look for their dream horse. We currently have over 30 horses in work ready for sale.

DIRECTION TO DOHYLE HOUSE STUD : take the N21 south from Adare Village, pass Croagh Village, you will pass a sign for 'Rathkeale 3Km', then pass a sigh for Rathkeale House Hotel, take the next exit left signed Pallaskenry. When you come off the main road follow signs right for Cappagh/Pallaskenry/kilcornan. Follow the road for approx 1km, pass under a railway bridge marked 12ft11in & we are the next Stone Built entrance on right.

Horses starting at 4pm on Sand: 0.8m, 0.9m, 1m, 1.10m, 1.20m, 1.30m

Ponies : Arena 1 Grass - starting at 6pm sharp- Newcomers, 128cm D, 128cm CD, 128cm ABC, 138cm D, 138cm CD, 138cm ABC

Arena 2 Grass - starting @ 7pm sharp - 148cm D, 148cm CD, 148cm 5/6/7 yr olds, 148cm BC, 148cm ABC, 148cm AB.

Horse Sport Ireland Qualifier Show, June 20th & 21st.

Friday 20th

Arena 1.Grass. Start Time @ 9.30 sharp.: 0.9m; 1m,1,10m, 1,30m (All 4 yr olds that compete are eligible to compete in the 4 yr old Judged Champioship on Saturday.

Arena 2 : 1.20m, HSI 5 yr old Qualifier (20 to qualify); HSI 6&7 yr old Qualifier (20 to qualify)

Saturday 21st.

Arena 1. Grass, Start Time @ 10am; 1.10 (s), 1.20m

Arena 2, Sand Start Time @ 11am. HSI 5 yr old Final; HSI 6&7 yr old Final, 4 Yr Old Championship; 1.30m.

Please contact the Show Secretary, 066-7126453, to arrange stabling. Limited stabling on Site & in locality, bookings close on 13th June. West Clare Grand Prix Show on Sunday 22nd across the Shannon in Co. Clare, 25 minutes from Dohyle House Stud to Tarbert Ferry, 25 minute crossing, Show Grounds 15-20 minutes from the Ferry.

Food & Music on site Friday & Saturday Night.
